How to Help

Volunteer
Higher Ground depends on volunteers like you to run its program every year.  You can make a difference today in the lives of teens that need your help.

Become a Camp Coach

Become a Mentor

Make a Donation
Higher Ground is 100% privately funded and we depend on grants and donations to run our program each year.  Your donation could help send a teen to camp or to a mentoring activity.  Please make a donation today!

Donations of supplies are also needed to provide equipment and clothing for our camp and mentoring activities.  If you or your company are interested in donating supplies, please contact us.

Refer a Teen
We welcome new youth into our program.  The teens we serve are at-risk youth living in Colorado, ages 13-16.  Many of the teens we work with come from challenging situations and unfortunate circumstances where their guardians may be single parents, other family members, or may be entirely absent.  These teens may be the caregivers for younger siblings, breadwinners for the family, or may be fending for themselves.  They face obstacles such as gangs, drugs, and alcohol on a daily basis.  If you know of such a teen that could benefit from our program, please refer him/her.
